Beef stew with polenta


  • 600 gr beef
  • 100 ml oil
  • 4 garlic cloves
  • 2 red onions
  • 2 spoons of celery pepper paste
  • 1 small carrot
  • 1 bell pepper
  • 1 spoon tomato paste
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 1/2 teaspoon sweet red paprika
  • black pepper
  • salt
  • corn flour for polenta


Peel and wash the onion, carrot, garlic and capia. Finely chop the carrot. Finely chop the onion, pepper and garlic. The meat is washed and blotted with excess water. Dice the meat. Fry the beef in hot oil. Add the onion, carrot, pepper and saute gently. As soon as you put the paprika and the tomato paste, mix and pour enough water to cover the composition. Season with salt and add the celery pepper paste and bay leaf. Boil for 40 minutes until the meat is tender. If necessary, add more water. Towards the end of the preparation, add the garlic and pepper.

Prepare the polenta from corn flour, salt and hot water.
