Pork stew

Ingredients:

  • 500 g low-fat pork
  • 500 g onion
  • 50 g carrot
  • 100 g paprika
  • 1 large clove of garlic
  • 5-6 spoons of tomato juice
  • 150-200 ml water
  • 70 ml white wine
  • 1 small sprig of rosemary
  • a few sprigs of thyme
  • salt
  • pepper
  • 4 spoons of oil

Preparation

Cut the well-washed pieces of meat into cubes and sauté them in 2 tablespoons of oil with a little water. It is good to have a little fat among them, because the food will be tastier. After they have turned white, possibly browned a little, take them out and put them in a heat-resistant dish.

Throw away the oil used for the meat and sauté the onion, carrot and paprika in the remaining oil.

When the onion is cooked, put it on top of the meat. add enough water to cover everything, wine, rosemary, thyme, clove of garlic cut in half and tomato juice.

Cover with a tin foil and put the dish in the oven preheated to 200°C. The flavors will become friends in this way for 30 minutes. After this interval, take the aluminum foil, season with salt and pepper and leave until the sauce reduces and thickens.
